“ Getting off the Metro station at Abbesses and walking up through Montmartre to The Basilica of Sacre-Cœur de Montmartre is quite an arduous task. Well we walked several flights of stairs up the hill and by that point we were hungry and thirsty. Luckliy for us, up on the corner we found Au Rendez-Vous des Amis. We were trying to avoid tourist traps and when you see local Parisians eating there thats usually a good sign. Well this cafe far exceeded our expectations. Both my children 11 and 13 are picky eaters which makes finding meals very difficult, especially in Paris. Well we able to get meals for everyone, three of us had the Burger which was incredible -everyone loved them including myself. I had a local beer with my burger which made it taste even better after the long walk up. My wife had the Chicken Caesar which she thoroughly enjoyed. If you have made the long way up to the halfway point between the Metro Abbesses station and The Basilica of The Sacred Heart looking for somewhere to take a break and enjoy a meal or drink this is the place. take it from a travel influencer:) ”
